Description
Critical health issues from chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes mellitus, to communicable diseases such as human immunodeficiency virus and other sexually transmitted infections. Students analyze the role of health risk behaviors in the development of disease, injury and disability, and design a personal wellness plan for health promotion.Successful completion of this course satisfies one Civic Engagement interaction.
