Description
Study of Jews within the context of American History, with emphasis on the settlement of America as part of the Diasporic experience. The historical causes for the unique aspects of American Judaism, economic and geographical mobility, the Jewish labor movement, the radical intellectuals of the '30's, and contemporary issues.Successful completion of this course satisfies one Civic Engagement interaction.
