Description
An introduction to the major types of political systems in the world. Uses both qualitative and quantitative analysis to study of the role of ideology, economics, elite groups, and political institutions. Covers Western and non-Western systems, with emphasis on Britain, Germany, the U.S., China, Nigeria, and selected other countries. Successful completion of this course satisfies one Civic Engagement interaction.
