Description
Introduction to contemporary global politics and a capstone course for the A.A. in Liberal Arts- Global Environment Studies Option. Survey of topics including, war, terrorism, security, poverty, the environment, human rights, international organizations, gender issues, inequality, the global economy and international law. Additional time is required for internship in an organization working on global and environmental issues. Course fulfills Group B General Education Distribution Requirements.Successful completion of this course satisfies one Civic Engagement interaction.
