Description

This explores the ways in which violence permeates and shapes today's world. Students will examine different forms of violence, from war and terrorism, to crime and domestic violence, as they appear in post-1945 American literature, film, and photography. They will discuss, analyze, and compare the different text and their relevance to one's daily life. Students will also engage in writing-intensive activities aimed to develop their appreciation of literature, film, and photography.
