Upon successful completion of the Physical Education, Recreation and Recreation Therapy degree program requirements, graduates will:
have a foundation in leadership, group work skills, and opportunities to have practiced each
have identified their personal values and ethical standards of practice
have technological and communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
have management strategies in recreation, physical education and facilities
have knowledge of risk management and safety
be prepared for careers in physical education, recreation and recreation therapy, and sports management
identified issues of accessibility, services and adaptations for people of all ages and abilities
have been introduced to professional organizations and provided opportunities to engage in workshops and conferences
