The Department of Allied Health, Mental Health and Human Services is made up from 6 KCC Health-related programs and one certificate program. Our faculty value the importance of education, knowledge acquisition and love of learning, as well as encouraging students in their recognition and responsibilities as members of society. We are dedicated to promoting student development and serving our community. To these ends, we strive to fulfill the following goals:
To develop student competence in information literacy, oral communication, quantitative skills, and technological literacy
To promote civic engagement, global awareness, civility, equity, inclusion and respect for diversity
To provide life-long learning opportunities
To provide comprehensive services that address student needs in order to support academic success
To respond to the educational, social, cultural, and economic needs of the communities we serve
